Condensed games on SportsChannel/FS Bay Area (1996-2000)

It should be noted that from 1996 to 2000, Glen Kuiper was the host of Giants and A's lite which was a 1/2 hour condensed highlight game in which featured games for both respected teams. The show was taken off in 2000 and this in 2004, Glen became the A's announcer.

Racial Slur Incident

Most media outlets have filtered the actual statement he used. As this is also a historical record of a person, I feel it's important not to do so here. No one can judge the importance of the incident for themselves if it is filtered out. Therefore, I have put a reference to the slur used in what I hope is a balanced way (linking to the wikipedia article on it). If there is a better way to accomplish this, I invite comment and editing, but I will force it to go to arbitration if someone tries to remove it altogether. The page currently says, as a matter of fact, that he "said the words '[N*****] League Museum.'" I think it's very much up for debate whether he said those words, or whether he said the word "Negro" in a way that sounded like the slur in question. By presenting one side as fact, I think this falls somewhere between WP:NOR and WP:NPOV. The article cites three sources, none of which unequivocally support the article's statement that he used the slur. The first says the opposite: "it appeared that Kuiper mispronounced the word 'Negro,' making it sound instead like a slur." The second says only that "the first word sounds more like a racial slur" (emphasis added). The third says "the word that came out of his mouth sounds like the slur in question. Whether that was him tripping over his wording or something else, it’s unfair to speculate." I we should edit this section to present his words neutrally. I read the sources' "appeared to misspeak" as attempting to explain why that word came out (as opposed to saying the word intentionally). I edited the passage to get closer to this interpretation. I don't read the sources as claiming it's ambiguous what word or sounds actually came out of his mouth. I never saw any discussion in the media about what he said; it was always about what should be the consequences. And the A's said that the language that he used was inappropriate.
