[edit]for land area and population density on the right, it lists km(mi) but it should have mi(km).. i just spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how whitewater wisconsin is more dense than glen ellyn, and finally i noticed that on the whitewater page, it lists miles first then kilometers in parenthesis, but its the opposite for glen ellyn. all pages should list it as x mi (y km).. consistency is the key, and most pages list miles first.. how do i change it? you cant edit that window in the edit page.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.248.50.84 (talk) 16:44, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit]I have deleted the following:
"Home to the one and only, Robert Thorsell. He'll probably tell you to "relaaax" and to "check this out, check this out". If you are Malcolm Booher, he'll ask you what your sources are and kick your ass at Cock of Duty. I wish I was as cool as Bobby T."
At best, this counts as original research, to put it politely. 75.58.116.25 (talk) 00:54, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
Plagiarism
[edit]The History section appears to be plagiarized from this webpage: http://www.encyclopedia.chicagohistory.org/pages/517.html The text appears to have been copied and pasted. No attribution and no citation is given to the source. I'm going to try and clean it up and improve it. (Summarizing in my own words what the source text says). - Most plagiarism added these days gets caught, but unfortunately, there is still a lot lingering from the early days of Wikipedia. When things were a bit more chaotic. Great catch! --Dkriegls (talk to me!) 06:19, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
- Also, there's a Historical Populations Box you can use for that population data you recently added. --Dkriegls (talk to me!) 07:38, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

Removal
[edit]Removed mention of catholic schools in the public school section. Seems redundant and out of place when there it a private school section just below it. If we want to add details about K-8 or if the school is associated with a particular denomination, it should probably be in that section, rather than a mention in the public school section.
