Lead

[edit]
  • "it was released June 8, 2010" → it was released on June 8, 2010

Background and composition

[edit]
  • You have a couple of pretty long sentences in this section; could you break 'em up a bit?
 Done. Yves (talk) 04:14, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • "decides to show appreciation for Will" - use his surname here, not first name
 Done. Yves (talk) 04:14, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • There is nothing here about the composition. At least add some genre info, which the infobox has (and source it)
 Done. Yves (talk) 04:14, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Add the release dates (or at least the first one)
 Done. Yves (talk) 04:14, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Critical reception

[edit]
  • Can you add more of the reviews to the ratings box?
Not done - I looked for Rolling Stone and NYTimes, and failed to find both available. Maybe Yves knows something further. CycloneGU (talk) 03:15, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There were few professional reviews available for the EP, because many professional critics already review the episodes, and most include a section on musical criticism. I've taken these and applied them to the tracks. If æsthetics is a concern, would you rather I exclude the infobox? Yves (talk) 04:02, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK, that works well. Leave the table there. :-) Adabow (talk · contribs) 07:37, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • The paragraphing is a bit funny here. I suggest merging the first three

Chart performance

[edit]
  • "With the cast's third number-one album on the Billboard 200, charting three weeks after Glee: The Music, Volume 3 Showstoppers, it beat its own record for shortest span between number-one debuts with different releases, previously held with Glee: The Music, The Power of Madonna and Volume 3 Showstoppers." - rewrite
  • Can you give a peak position in the Soundtracks chart?
  • "Although none of the tracks were released as singles, most, if not all, managed to chart" - was it most, or all?
  • "It re-entered single charts" → It re-entered the single charts
  • "regarded it as a separate song, which charted at" → regarded it as a separate song, who placed it at
Done with the only exception being the Soundtrack Chart peak. I'll let Yves handle that as he knows those sources. CycloneGU (talk) 03:01, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The part about the Soundtracks chart is already mentioned in the first sentence: "The EP debuted at number one on both the US Billboard 200 and Soundtracks charts, selling 154,000 copies there." Yves (talk) 04:00, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Other comments

[edit]
  • Has a NPOV
  • Sufficiently stable
  • Cover image is fair use. Could you include a few more images? Maybe of cast members or a concert performance?
We don't have any pictures of the cast in concert, but I've added one of the cast members (or, at least, most of them). Yves (talk) 04:21, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I will place the review on hold now, awaiting improvements. Adabow (talk · contribs) 01:28, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work, passing now. Adabow (talk · contribs) 07:37, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
