"Brise (Germany), etc. Brise was renamed in Glade in Germany in 2012." Thats only the half of the truth... In germany Glade products sold as "...Produkte von Glade® by Brise®" What means that it is not renamed, but has now two names... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.155.231.8 (talk) 19:02, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

History, Background Info

[edit]

I'd like to see more (any) information about the brand. When did it get started? What about that sublimenal advertising scandal? --Navstar 19:13, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I would like to see the inclusion of Ferns and Blossoms in the Aerosol section. I'm afraid people will look at their choice of aerosols and limit themselves.

I would like to see some information on how the product actually works. Mayde some scientific information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.22.243.66 (talk) 21:22, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've been looking on a few random forums and lots of people are always wanting to know when a brand like this started, the date when it was founded would be helpful, as Jimmy Wales said "340 million people use Wikipedia every month" so surely someone knows.

Glade makes very bizarre decisions about how and when to discontinue products. Their basic vanilla scent is currently available in room sprays and oil refills however, it has been discontinued in the gel plug in refills. I assume it has been discontinued as it is no longer available at any major drugstores like walgreens or other stores like wal-mart or Target. This decision by Glade makes no sense! Why discontinue this scent in gel plug in refills but still carry it in oil refills and room sprays? They are phasing basic and popular scents like simple vanilla in several products in favor of scents that have bizarre fruit combinations and other unusual tropical type scents. Maybe some of us living in the midwest don't want our homes to smell like tropical rainforests and such. I Have been buying glade vanilla gel plug ins for years and am very upset with glade. Now my only scent choices left that are not too bizarre are baby powder or clean linen. (They have a vanilla and lavender scent but I don't like lavender.) Don't like their clean linen scent that much and I really don't like baby powder - not interested in having my house smell like a baby's butt. I am really upset with glade. I can't even find any on ebay or amazon. what's up with that? I can almost always find discontinued stuff on ebay. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.41.87.21 (talk) 16:51, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to see some info about the "Poo at Paul's" commercial added in, too. 67.170.217.51 (talk) 05:32, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
