Gjorgji Knjazev → Georgi Knjazev – this is the incorrect spelling. https://basketball.eurobasket.com/player/Georgi_Knjazev/FYR-Macedonia/KK-MZT-Skopje-Aerodrom/15800 Zoralidija15 (talk) 06:26, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose, Macedonian form is Ѓорѓи Књазев, transliterated as "Gjorgji". "Georgi" is an informal shorthand. No such user (talk) 15:21, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
- Support, Georgi Knjazev is of russian heritage and his father "Aleksandar" named him "Георги" after his own father. During his time coaching Georgi also went by "Georgi" in Kuwait a country where english is widely spoken. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zoralidija15 (talk • contribs)
- @Zoralidija15: Where's evidence for that? In Macedonian press, he's referred to as Ѓорѓи [1] [2] [3], and that's what should matter.

- Support- I've had a search online and Georgi does seem to be the common name in English sources. — Amakuru (talk) 14:07, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
