Danger of coat-racking the topic
[edit]@Nimdokai: You do understand that "uncle Bob" did not invent the concept. Placing his entry first, even though it was a in a good book, is not appropriate. Listing every work where the concept is discussed would turn the article into a WP:COATRACK and we do not need that. Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:10, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
@Walter Görlitz:. You do understand that "uncle Bob" did not invent the concept. - YES, Did I wrote that he invented that? NO. I just wrote "mentioned" and so I did for the other author, because he as well did not invent it.
- "Listing every work where the concept is discussed would turn the article into a WP:COATRACK and we do not need that." - Get your point, you could explain that previously, I wouldn't then revert the changes. Still, the other guy did not invent it, so "mention" better reflects that. Nimdokai (talk) 17:43, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
- I guess when I wrote, "he mentioned it because it existed before the book", it wasn't enough for you. By the way, WP:BRD discusses how you should approach this sort of thing. Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:25, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Walter Görlitz: >By the way, WP:BRD discusses how you should approach this sort of thing. -> Sorry, But I don't all the rules of Wikipedia. I just wanted to contribute because I've seen misinformation, that's all. BTW, thanks for the link.Nimdokai (talk) 14:52, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
