Out-of-date Article

[edit]

The name of this software tool seems to have changed, and upon further review, the article seems to be significantly out of date .66.193.200.74 (talk) 16:22, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

2022 updates

[edit]

This article is out of date again (as of 2022). First the company was called Axosoft with a product called OnTime, then the product name changed to Axosoft, they added a product called GitKraken, and finally they changed the company name to GitKraken. I guess I would propose changing the name of the article to the company name, GitKraken, and briefly describing their two products. Palehose5 (talk) 19:30, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I updated this page to be mainly about the company GitKraken (the link to GitKraken redirects here anyway). I hope this change isn't too radical. I then updated the infobox. I removed the old list of accolades that made the page look like a big ad. I also added the fact that the company now has a parent company - bought in 2020. The next logical move would be to actually move this article to GitKraken, and have Axosoft redirect to GitKraken#Axosoft.Palehose5 (talk) 20:51, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I also restored some old text about GitKraken from a previous version of this article, and re-added the infobox for Axosoft the product.Palehose5 (talk) 21:00, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

AxosoftGitKraken – The company's name has changed to GitKraken. Axosoft is now simply the name of one product, which is now much less notable that 10 years ago. Furthermore, GitKraken has no page of its own, so it makes sense to migrate this over to GitKraken (the company) and include sections about Axosoft and GitKraken (the product). By proposing the move request in the first place, you are already assumed to support it. Striking to make this clear. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 20:09, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, understood. Thanks.Palehose5 (talk) 02:24, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
At this point this appears to be less controversial and/or less interesting than I'd thought. So I guess I'm OK to move this? I have been reading the documentation and I don't really understand the next step. I may have erred in my approach and instead used a "technical" move request process, since GitKraken already exists and redirects here. @Mellohi! Should I instead close this and relist as a technical move request? Palehose5 (talk) 13:52, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
