[edit]Are we sure that the medallion shown is a portrait of this Girolamo Scotto? I think it depicts the magician of the same name who performed mentalist and card tricks for various Royal audiences, including Elizabeth I of England in 1594 and perhaps 1602, and is said to have lived until 1610 or so. - I think you're right. Same name, different guy. I am yet to see a portrait of the printer. I took the pic out of the article (for now -- anyone else feel free to weigh in.) Antandrus (talk) 18:18, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
