Name confusion

Is the subject's first name Hieronyme or Girolamo - or are they two different people? In general this article needs much more contextual detail and explanation - it presumes far too much pre-existing knowledge in readers. When writing for WP the default assumption is that readers know practically nothing at all about the specific subject and have only elementary knowledge of the context. One glaring example of a lack of detail is that the entire article contains only one date - being neither a birth or death date. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 13:04, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
