Proposal for adding "Pretty Powerful" Campaign
[edit]Bobbi Brown Cosmetics founded the Pretty Powerful Campaign in 2013. The campaign consists of partnerships with organizations that make education and learning accessible to both women and girls in the developing world.[1] Through the makeup and the brands Pretty Powerful message, the campaign's primary focus is to help young girls and women to feel more confident by gaining the knowledge that education offers.[2] The Pretty Powerful Campaign offers two different ways to donate to the cause. Option one, buy Pretty Powerfull II Pot Rouge, all proceeds are put towards girls education. The second option is to make a donation, here is the donation list: $4 can provide a girl with ten pencils, $13 provides and Ethiopian girl with a uniform and school supplies, $30 can purchase literacy training in Guatemala.[3]

I'm not sure that the proposal for adding the makeup company-based campaign would be appropriate for Girl Rising. Girl Rising is about girls' empowerment through education and has no agenda of outward beauty. Pcvjamaica (talk) 01:02, 23 November 2017 (UTC)
