the result was no consensus, default to keep
[edit]The result of the AFD discussion was:
The result was no consensus - default to keep. There is no consensus to delete here, but there appears to be some dispute as to whether this is correctly titled (not referring to the mistake early on in the AfD, but in the merge/redirect discussion later on). This is an editorial matter, but should be confronted and resolved before this returns to AfD, if indeed it does. Fritzpoll (talk) 14:42, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
AnmaFinotera, you wrote in the redirect edit summary ((redirecting to Milk Morinaga per general AfD consensus to either delete or redirect). I undid that, since that isn't what the AfD consensus said. Dream Focus (talk) 22:20, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, it is. You were the only one who said keep. All others said delete or redirect. So it has been redirected. Closing admin is aware of this. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 23:17, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
- Indeed. Per WP:PRESERVE, I'm undoing the undiscussed "deletion via redirect" by AnmaFinotera. Improve, not shove under the rug. Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 12:24, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Fine, back to AfD we go. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 14:04, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
deletion reviewi tag???
[edit]I click on where the deletion review tag is at, but I don't see this article listed anywhere. Reviews for notability/reception
[edit]Because the status of the reliablity of this reviewer was questioned in the first AFD, I'm not putting these in the article directly just yet, but parking them here for disucssion/evaluation:
(Now to go off and track down that evaluation on her status as a reviewer of yuri manga, in this morass of unindexed pages that is WP-space.) Update: the current centralized discussion is at Talk:Yuri (genre)#Erika Friedman RS Redux. —Quasirandom (talk) 19:36, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Also, will keep looking for other sources. For an unlicensed mangaka, Morinaga does get a surprising amount of notice in English. —Quasirandom (talk) 16:41, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Answer from Reliable Source Notice Board : Erika Friedman RS for yuri ?
She is RS. --KrebMarkt 09:57, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
Page move?
[edit]- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
Given the ja.wiki article and the publisher's page for the series clearly list the title as GIRL FRIENDS with a space, do we have consensus to move this to Girl Friends (manga) following English title-case conventions? Since this issue seemed to loom large in the AfD.... —Quasirandom (talk) 01:17, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Since its the official name, I'd say go for it. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 01:46, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- That sounds reasonable. 76.116.247.15 (talk) 14:46, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Agree too--KrebMarkt 09:58, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- http://www.futabasha.co.jp/booksdb/book/bookfind/?type=t&word=GIRL+FRIENDS&btnG=%E6%A4%9C%E7%B4%A2 They have a space in the name where they sell it at. So, the title means girls who are friends, not girls who are in a relationship with someone, as in girlfriends. Dream Focus 10:37, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
Do it, even Dream Focus agreed ;) --KrebMarkt 21:35, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
