@Schwede66: Dow you know for sure Andersen attended Avonside Girls' High School? I see the article states Hobbs was her principal and Hobbs' article specifies Avonside but isn't that WP:SYNTH which says not to combine material from multiple sources to reach or imply a conclusion not explicitly stated by any source? Was Avonside the only school Hobbs was principal of? Kiwichris (talk) 04:06, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it's skating towards synthesis although "Hobbs" and "principal" are two very distinct statements. I guess it's a judgement call. Can we be certain that Hobbs' bio is complete enough that all schools where she was principal are listed? If the answer to that question is yes, I'd say this is a safe enough conclusion.
I've had a look and her parliamentary bio states that she was associate principal at Aranui High School, then principal at Avonside Girls' High School, before then becoming an MP. The question thus is: would it be possible that Andersen talks about Hobbs as principal when she really was just associate principal? Schwede6605:05, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
