Fair use rationale for Image:Gingersnaps3DVDscan.jpg
[edit]Image:Gingersnaps3DVDscan.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:37, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Is this movie canon?
[edit]It is set many years before Ginger Snaps and the sequel.

Ginger Snaps Back → Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning – Although this is technically the third film in a franchise series, the title does appear to be included in the film's actual title — it instead appears to be an original research addition for some reason other than actual title accuracy. On more than one occasion now, an anonymous IP has gone around Wikipedia actively breaking links to this article by prematurely rewording them to the correct title despite the fact that it makes them redlinks, so I'm submitting this for discussion on their behalf since they likely don't know how to do it themselves — but if this is going to keep happening, then the title needs to be fixed. 1.32.74.108 (talk) 08:48, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
- Support – Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning does appear to be the title. Both the poster displayed at the article, and program guide searches, support this, as does the listing at Amazon. To clarify, this third film is actually a "prequel" (of sorts) to the first two films, hence "The Beginning" part. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 13:12, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
- Support move. The subtitle is part of the name, and there is no reason not to include it. ONR (talk) 17:42, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- Support. It's exactly the same case as Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, which we do not shorten to Star Trek II. WP:CONCISE is not the be-all and end-all of the criteria, but one factor to consider among many. — SMcCandlish ☺ ☏ ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ≼ 01:36, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
