Surname

[edit]

The article says that she was born Georgina Caroline Italiano and her surname was later shortened to Liano. I looked at The Sydney Morning Herald reference and there's nothing about it in there. Is there a source for this or is it vandalism? Melonkelon (talk) 21:10, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect vandalism. A quick check of the relevant unique references from her sister Bettina Liano's article finds no mention of Italiano either, nor does a quick Google search. Mitch Ames (talk) 11:26, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'd also like to see a citation for "Georgina". https://abr.business.gov.au/SearchByAbnHistory.aspx?abn=85080961343 might be her, but there's not enough information to be certain. Mitch Ames (talk) 11:37, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Mitch Ames: very likely to be vandalism. I've done some searching and I can't find anything about the surname Italiano. It was added in this edit back in May 2016. Another IP added that the name was shortened to Liano in this edit from April 2017. Yep, that ABN appears to be her. Her archived profile on the Victorian Bar website lists the surname Reyntjes as well. However, I can't find another other sources that mention that the name Georgina.
