List of names section

[edit]

A list of names of the victims has surfaced recently, including the victims’ ages, names, and families. Should this information be on the page in it’s own section, or at the very least, the family names? Jebiguess (talk) 01:41, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No, because the names are meaningless to over 99% of readers. Jim Michael 2 (talk) 04:08, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. Yes, report came out specifying some name list. The relevance in this case is that it shows majority of the victims are from Muslim background. I plan to add more sources to the article. Petra0922 (talk) 09:20, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Source for internally displaced person

[edit]

Hello @Dunutubble. I looked through the sources you have used when I noticed victims (Internally Displaced Person) are designated as perpetrators (?). IDPs are refugees and generally the vulnerable groups that seek protection and security (the UN definition: https://www.unocha.org/es/themes/internal-displacement#:~:text=Internally%20displaced%20persons%20(IDPs)%20are,remain%20within%20their%20own%20country). In this article the victims are blamed. Could you please provide your source about IDPs attacking others? I just wanted to discuss it with you first before i include any changes. Many of the resources that I identified detailed that the OLF-OLA armed groups blaming government militants but not the victims (or IDPs). Could you please include your source for this portion? Thank you. Petra0922 (talk) 00:39, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
