[edit]Please stop vandalizing the page to suit your own egomanical needs. Your own undeniable bias and anti-Zionist rantings are clear evidence that you're certainly not qualified to serve as a moral authority on the subject.--Michaelk 22:17, 24 September 2005 (UTC)
This entry is clearly autobiographical
[edit]It reads like a publisher's blurb on a book cover or website. This guy may indeed be a good historian, but he shouldn't be the one to say so in Wikipedia, should he? This is not an encyclopedia article; it's blatant self-marketing and should be deleted. Wlegro (talk) 16:41, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
- It's a cut and paste from his website (http://giltroy.com/biography.htm). Delete it. Lsimonis (talk) 20:53, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
What are his ideas?
[edit]This entry really sucks. I came here trying to find out what his ideas were. This entry is just a list of his job titles and encomiums. The only thing in here that was helpful was the link to his debate with Norman Finkelstein at Democracy Now.
Why is he a Zionist? Isn't there anybody working on this entry who understands Troy's ideas well enough to answer that question? --Nbauman (talk) 22:29, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
Is this a good article to add as a reference?
[edit]" In his discussion of this program, McGill University's Professor Gil Troy said, "People are more successful when they know who they are and have a strong identity."
