The fourth citation's link is invalid. 98.30.114.180 (talk) 04:11, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I removed the citation. You can see what I did by clicking on "History" at the top of the article. You know, it is fine for you to click on "Edit" and remove the citation yourself. If you do something like that, you should explain in the edit summary what you are doing. --Epipelagic (talk) 07:01, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"illuminated" pine knots ---> BURNING pine knots?

[edit]
I can't read the indicated citation, but isn't it likely that the sentence, "In the past people would attach illuminated pine knots to the end of gigs at night to give them light.", should read "...burning pine knots..." ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.6.226.107 (talk) 23:05, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have just added archive links to one external link on Gigging. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Globalization tag added

Gigging is a global activity, but the article is almost exclusively US-centric. Jonsg (talk) 17:05, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
