Al Cabrera
[edit]Why the disclaimer that he was actually the first African born mlb player? Canary Islands are close to Africa but are part of Spain ergo he is not African born. CLClaven (talk) 10:13, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
The Canary Islands are part of Spain, but they're in Africa--there are a number of parts of Spain that are in Africa, also including Ceuta and Melilla. It's a similar situation to French Guiana, which is part of France but is in South America. SumnerH (talk) 17:08, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Bats
[edit]It says he bats right, but the photo looks as though he is batting left. --2604:2000:E010:1100:DA1:C9B4:8016:858E (talk) 17:16, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
