Wasn't there at one time a pop group called Gidea Park, notable for their take-off of Beach Boy numbers? If ever they get their own article, disambiguation will be called for here. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 16:51, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
The nearest Wikipedia has to an article about them is in the article about Adrian Baker. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 21:23, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

History revamp
[edit]I have had this reverted by someone who calls themselves "TBM10". The text I have written, compared to what was previously there, in my opinion, is more comprehensive, is more verifiable by way of a link to the source via archive.org, and is more carefully written. What do others think? In the next week or so, this will be going live so I don't feel the exhibition needs to be repeated twice. Moreover, in the article I'm about to create, the history segment I have written will not fit, but it fits in the Gidea Park article. Gidea Park's history goes back further than 1911 and the Romford Garden Suburb estate; it was a very notable area, not least because it was the seat of Cooke's, and latterly, a leading liberal politician. It was also of royal interest with a members taking an interest in the area. Nowhere in what is currently there makes any mention of this and instead concentrated solely on what went on in the late-Edwardian period. It also fails on verifiability as it only makes do with two sources, and one of them is a primary, unreliable source. CassiantoTalk 21:21, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
