Bret Winternheimer

[edit]

A good guy. But hardly a "notable alumnus." That is reserved for people who are actually famous for something. Kurt Weber (Go Colts!) 23:05, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I aggree, especially since he seems to only have local fame in the school. 4.225.84.151 06:49, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article is a total mess. An intro is needed, colors should not be used, some material should not even be in there, and many, many more references are needed. I do not have the time to do this as I know nothing about the subject and I work on severe weather articles about deadly tornado outbreaks, not barely meeting notability requirements school articles. Article rework in progress

[edit]

When I made the article, I was not very experienced with Wikipedia. Since then I have created almost 400 articles, most of which without any problems. Most of the format was similar to those of the Evansville Schools. It is this way because someone with probably less experience than myself, made a mismatch of two articles of which the only connection was that they pertained to the same school and wiped out whole sections faster than I could restore them. In the next few months I am going to try to restore most of the lost features and re-sort the badly combined matrial. Please leave it be until it is completed as it will most likely be a more complete article. I am also somewhat knowageable about severe weather mainly in Southwest Indiana. Who Deleted the image?

[edit]

I was apparently under the impression that the person that uploaded the file or picture was to be notified when a file is being deleted. I used the protocols to upload it and I don't appreciate not being notified without an explanation as to why someone thought that an image from a public entity like a school corporation would be different from any other government entity. Rhatsa26X (talk) 02:48, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Besides this page is a total mess anyway. If Someone wants to go through the trouble of deleting one picture, they can at least help clean this page up. Rhatsa26X (talk) 02:50, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what image you are reffering to, but you may wish to see Copyright status of work by U.S. subnational governments. BillHPike (talk, contribs) 05:17, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

School Colors

[edit]

Apparently some people don't seem to understand or want to understand that there ARE schools OUTSIDE of major cities that USE FOUR OR MORE COLORS! Rhatsa26X (talk) 12:40, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you can find a citation, I have no objection to including the school's colors. BillHPike (talk, contribs) 05:15, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Help Needed from WikiProject Indiana

[edit]

I seem to have gotten into a stupid edit war with a pair of trolls who don't want to comprehend that not everything about a school has a website documenting it. Anything at all would be appreciated since they managed to get me black listed as well. Rhatsa26X (talk) 05:13, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:CANVASSING BillHPike (talk, contribs) 05:14, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And I'd suggest walking back the 'trolls' crap. Quickly. 2601:188:180:11F0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 05:32, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, we're very clear on content--if it's not documented by WP:RELIABLE sources, it doesn't belong. 2601:188:180:11F0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 05:34, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Does Wikipedia have a policy regarding editors who feel they own a page?

[edit]

It seems this John from Indygon feels he's the foremost authority on this school. I know from peeking at this page's history, this editor has been abusive in his behavior with other editors, like Rhatsa26X, who like me lives in Gibson County, and graduated from this school. Nobody should have sole control over an article, if they have no knowledge of the subject of the article. Snoopy26Z (talk) 05:01, 11 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:OWN, no one owns this page. Its also worth noting thay WP:V means all content most be cited to reliable souces. — BillHPike (talk, contribs) 05:10, 11 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
