Created the page; there's scant info available so it's really only a stub at the moment. Someone want to whack on the stub template? I can't figure it out. TheKhakinator 07:44, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Added stub status and some links, etc. TheKhakinator 07:54, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

'Similar systems' section seems biased

[edit]

It seems a little biased to me. I'm afraid to unbias it, because I actually think the transperformance system it light years ahead of the Gibson robot system (i.e. I may be overbiased toward it). It seems to me we (or I, right now, really) ought to completely excise the text stating "many consider the technology to be outdated." The section ought to say something along the lines of the Transperformance system being far more advanced than the robot in many respects, but then list the downsides (heavy instrument modification (purely a visual aesthetic change), higher cost, and that's it really). Ums, yeah. If that sounded biased to you, that's why I haven't made the change myself. I should/would make a transperformance article, but I'm not entirely sure how. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.176.216.163 (talk) 22:59, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreliability

[edit]

Shouldn't this article mention the legendary (un)-reliability issues with the robot system? Stub Mandrel (talk) 20:25, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
