Does anyone know if it's the highest point in Waverley Borough? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:30A:2ED6:9470:95F8:8B6E:E83D:EAF5 (talk) 21:51, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Tearaway

[edit]

Should we add something that mentions a location named Gibbet Hill in the video game "Tearaway" for the PS Vita and PS4? PinkPuffyPower759 (talk) 18:23, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

On balance no; even if this Gibbet Hill.SovalValtos (talk) 18:50, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi sorry, can you please explain what this means? I'm fairly new to actually editing on wikipedia. What does "on balance" mean? Also, does your message end earlier than intended? It seems like there is meant to be something after "even if this Gibbet Hill" or you made a confusing typo. Thank You! PinkPuffyPower759 (talk) 21:58, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) It means that even if the Gibbet Hill in the game is the one at Hindhead (there are other places called Gibbet Hill), mentioning the game in the article is probably not a good idea. There is no hard-and-fast rule on this, to my knowledge, but it is probably trivia. Tony Holkham (Talk) 10:53, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
