I cleaned this up while waiting for an update that failed. I chose the hispanic method of surnames, referring to him as Mendes Seixas, although his son is normally referred to as Seixas using the English/American convention. Also, I used Mendes as that was originally in the article, although the memorial tablet spells his name as Mendez, as do several other online sources. I hope someone will at least add a religious person infobox.Jweaver28 (talk) 00:08, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
