Irish music and Ireland

[edit]

I added the tags for this page, based on the fact that Gerry McAvoy was the bassist during Rory Gallagher's most prolific period, as well as his close friend, and Gallagher's page has been ranked high in importance for both Irish music and Ireland, so I'm sure there would be some level of importance from McAvoy as well, at the least musically. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 12:36, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It says Gerry McAvoy had a 35 year relationship with Rory Gallagher, then that the relationship spanned the years 1970-1995 - which looks like 25 years...Did they know each other for 10 years before they teamed up, or is this a calculation error?Professor J Lawrence (talk) 22:59, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A calculation error - now corrected.
