Marviken
[edit]Where is Marviken? I can only find it in Sweden, southwest of Stockholm. But I always thought that Sweden was neutral in WW II. Did the Swedes have a U-boat base on their territory? Having Googled Marviken, all the entries point to Sweden, yet the red line for this boat's first patrol on Uboat.net points to Kristiansand, which is in Norway.
I have often doubted the accuracy of Uboat.net; many locations seem to start or finish some way inland! Indeed, the start point for U-364's second patrol is located between 'Skipperats' and 'Elvegata' streets!!
