Merge proposal
[edit]The material in the Zanzibar article is essentially a cutpaste from here (or vice versa), and I don't see sufficient specific information on the topic in Zanzibar to warrant separate articles. --j⚛e deckertalk 18:33, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- This subject is already dealt with here: Postage stamps and postal history of German East Africa. I suggest that it is redirected to that article. The Zanzibar post offices are simply part of the wider German East Africa posts. Philafrenzy (talk) 21:53, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
It is also the case that, although it is true German postal operations on Zanzibar were of the "foreign office abroad" category, no catalogue lists them as such. Even highly specialist German catalogues do not separate them from the material relating to German East Africa. Sugi sensei (talk) 01:26, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
