Merge up
[edit]I started this article, but on second thought -- especially since there were two such newspapers, but the notability of each is marginal -- I believe it would be better to create German language newspapers of Oregon, and create redirects for each. -Pete Forsyth (talk) 23:20, 10 July 2018 (UTC) Done
Competing info
[edit]Turnbull is a highly respected source, however I wonder if he may have been incorrect about the Oregon Zeitung folding. A February 15, 1911 death notice suggests that the paper continued, under the leaderships of various members of the Kern family, until at least 1911. (Also, the PDX library article has a similar claim.) Needs some further research. -Pete Forsyth (talk) 23:59, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
