Merge With Main Article

[edit]

This article deals with a specific subject of the Dugway Proving Ground in Utah. There isn't much value as a standalone article and would work more as an individual section in the main article. Lack of citations may indicate lack of general notability. --ShortShadow (talk) 05:04, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. I think this article should be expanded to include brief sections about Dresden and other cities that were bombed using weapons that were engineered & optimized to maximize civilian casualties from the tests at German Village. Maltfield (talk) 17:32, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

I propose to merge Japanese Village and German Village (Dugway Proving Ground) into one article. As both "villages" were built right next to each other and were tested simultaneously they were really just one test site. The articles are also fairly redundant, with very little information applying to one village and not the other. It would be better to just have an article about test villages at the Dugway Proving Ground, with it containing information about both of the villages.
