More, please!
[edit]Not a wikipedian so no formal requests here -- but goodness, considering the total number of signers even in this family, surely there should be more info here? Nothing on the history? Particulars of grammar? Would love any contributor to add more! Just feeling like this should be a notch higher priority. 172.220.5.243 (talk) 08:49, 15 August 2023 (UTC)
Why JSL?
[edit]The page begins
- The German Sign Language (JSL) family
Why "JSL"? I'm working on resources for sign languages all over the world, and I've never encountered this abbreviation for DGS (Deutsche Gebärdensprache). However, "JSL" is used to refer to Japanese and Jamaican Sign Languages.
There's no reference for the initialism. It was in the original version of the article. @Kwamikagami: can you source it, please? --Thnidu (talk) 16:59, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
- Just a copy error. Deleted. — kwami (talk) 17:19, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
