[edit]The information is not correct! The German Shanghai Metro Group was a consortium formed by AEG (today Bombardier)(leader) and Siemens to deliver the Metro Shanghai Line 1 and Line 2. The consortium was found in 1988 and has been terminated meanwhile, because all obligation of the contracts have been completed. The first members of the consortium were AEG (leader, Siemens, DUEWAG and Waggon Union. The 2 later companies merged later into ADtranz and Siemens. Shanghai Metro Corporation (SMC) was never part of this consortium! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.193.213.33 (talk) 08:12, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
