Gerard/Gerald?
[edit]According to Scotland's People, his name is Gerard Church (born Calton, Glasgow, 28/01/1928). Typo on the page cited in the article or change of name or perhaps "Gerald" became the nickname? Anyway, it's worth keeping in mind for the future. According to Ancestry.co.uk, he was living in Annapolis, Maryland, USA in 1993. Couldn't find anything subsequent but that would suggest he may still be alive. --Jkaharper (talk) 13:25, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
- He was still living in 2007 per public records. Not good enough for the Living people category, but something to go on. Canadian Paul 20:31, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Canadian Paul:, now deceased. I've added his obituary. Thanks --Jkaharper (talk) 05:46, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Jkaharper: Good find! Although I'm honestly more impressed with Joan Warner. Canadian Paul 02:35, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Canadian Paul:, thanks! It only took me 15 years to finally crack it! xD --Jkaharper (talk) 05:13, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
