Feedback

[edit]

Hi Ichabod Dingbat here's some feedback for your draft about Georgina Kleege:

  • You'll want to bold her name in the first sentence--just a Wikipedia convention
  • Perhaps instead of a "Legacy" section it should be "Publications"? That seems more specific
  • The lead (content before the first section title) is supposed to summarize the rest of the article. I think the lead could be bulked up a little bit
  • If possible, it is considered standard to include someone's birth year in the first sentence of the article ("Georgina Kleege (born 19xx) is a..."
  • The references should be in a references section. So you'll want to create a section for References then directly underneath the section title, click "insert" then "template" and then type "reflist". Then click "insert". You don't need to fill out any of the fields. This will keep the references in your section (otherwise they will always migrate to the bottom of the page)
  • Generally external links (links to websites that are not Wikipedia) should not be in the body of a Wikipedia article. So you should either remove the external links to her works or put them in a section underneath the references section called "External links"

Let me know if you have any questions! Everything looks well-referenced and supported by lots of citations! Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:24, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Than you, Elysia! I have made the fixes you recommended and moved this from my sandbox to a real page. Thanks for your guidance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ichabod Dingbat (talkcontribs) 17:42, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
