Sclerosis
[edit]From the introductory section: "Hebert's system rejected the sclerosis of remedial gymnastics and of the popular Swedish Method of physical culture..."
What the ...? "Hebert's system rejected the abnormal hardening of remedial gymnastics"? I have no idea what this is supposed to mean. --David Scarlett(Talk) 05:20, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
No. "Hebert's system rejected the sclerosis of remedial gymnastics"? It uses "sclerosis" as the hardening of muscles just for the size of them ("the bigger, the better"), so it means that he looked for muscles not only strong but also of a regular size that allows you to move as fast as you want (because a lot of bodybuilders have muscles so big that they can't move fast). --201.230.147.97 02:18, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Bibliography
[edit]Does anyone have a list of Hebert's books? The article lists Muscle & Plastic Beauty, but a list of the rest would be good. Peregrine 10:45, 19 June 2007 (UTC) Managed to find a list of the German version of the page. Peregrine 11:11, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Hebertism page
[edit]Since there were no objections I redirected Hebertism to here, Peregrine 06:20, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Anglo-Saxon sport? Anglophobia... no wonder Wikipedia is so poor, when disgruntled people (for whatever reason) are allowed to edit it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.67.49.34 (talk) 10:59, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
