Why WikiProject Ireland?

I am intrigued he is dealt with by WikiProject Ireland - I have seen nothing in print to indicate he ever lived in Ireland or had Irish family links.Cloptonson (talk) 18:44, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

He was a holder of an Irish peerage, and was Lord High Steward of Ireland (which role no longer meant much by then but still had a formal role relevant to Ireland). SeoR (talk) 23:25, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
