I deleted this content [1] which had been added by an IP due to WP:Copyvio concerns. The inclusion of bare and meaningless references suggests it was copied from somewhere probably a wiki. Unfortunately I couldn't work out where (the wikipedia effect doesn't help.) If it was copied from wikipedia, than it needs to be properly attributed to the source article, to satisfy the CC BY-SA and GFDL attribution requirements. Notably, if it was from the deleted Trip Through the Grand Canyon, that article needs to be undeleted first as the attribution requirements can't be met otherwise. (The fact the article was deleted because there was no sourcing suggests to me a problem. I can't see what the bare references are obviously, but perhaps they are not WP:RS.) The article can be kept as a redirect, but it needs to exist so the edit log is present. If the content was from some other wiki or some other source, than the source needs to have the content under the CC BY-SA or another compatible licence (if it was released under the GFDL licence only, this isn't sufficient). That also means any licence terms must be met when the content is copied including attribution ones if they are present. Even if the source has no attribution requirements (e.g. the content is public domain), it should still be attributed to avoid confusion. Nil Einne (talk) 17:26, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
