Jūrj Sārtūn
[edit]The parenthetical sentence about the Arabic name is right now stuck in a not very fitting place in the article. The name itself is a quite trivial rendering of George Sarton in Arabic letters so I wonder if it's crucial to include it at all. The best reason to include it would be, I think, if Sarton had actually used it during his travels. Otherwise, it can go.
Maybe somebody has more information about this? Bazuz (talk) 05:28, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
Dead link
[edit]The following link, tagged as dead, was removed:
- Journal of the History of the Behavioral Sciences. Volume 21 Issue 2, pages 107–117.[dead link ] "The life and career of George Sarton: The father of the history of science," by Eugene Garfield. Published online: 13 February 2006
The article cites Eugene Garfield from Current Contents which appears to duplicate the lost link. — Rgdboer (talk) 23:38, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
