Why was both "von Wallis" and "Walsh" begotten from their lastname: "Wallis"?

[edit]

Is there any significance to the spelling tweakings?

Bytheway,'von Wallis' makes one think of the Switzer kanton by the same name.

Is this the same 'Graf Wallis' as listed in the film: Fridericus Der Alte Fritz?

[edit]

Haven't gotten around to watching the aforesaid film but clocked a "Graf Wallis' (played by a Bernhard Minetti) in the opening film credits. Me being somewhat hawkeyed sometimes for all things anent the Switzer kanton of Wallis. Anyway, if it is not listed herein this article, haps a byword could listed anent Graf Wallis being portrayed in the aforesaid film if not others also. Thanks.

Count of Wallis looks like Chuka Umanna
