Debunking of Gay's claim as an Astorian
[edit]Though this is insteresting, I suspect that undue weight has been given to the subject. Katr67 (talk) 18:10, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's all been fixed. The Dictionary of Oregon History for some reason had Gay as a Astorian, but following his sources (yes there are sources listed if you know how to read the book) the pre-1810 items didn't match two of the three sources used. The third I couldn't get (Dobbs). I'll clean-up the related article too. Aboutmovies (talk) 16:51, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
