Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (having researched the importance of George Honour during the D-Day landings, I believe that it is important that Honour is to be remembered for his vital role during the Normany Landings. Honour received the distinguished serve cross by George VI as a result of his willingness to stay on the ocean bed for 24 hours whilst gunfire was occurring to make sure that the Normany Landings could go ahead ) --Tigermothy549 (talk) 20:05, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- I would love to agree with you but please read the general notability guidelines and the specific guidance for military personnel and he just doesn't cut it on the content as it stands or what I can find. Nthep (talk) 20:26, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
