Untitled

[edit]

Someone had said that Gray had a brief stint in the Full Blooded Italians. I believe they are confusing Gray with Big Sal E. Graziano (Val Puccio). I have removed the reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.173.202.210 (talkcontribs) 17:58, 28 July 2006

ECW

[edit]

He never was in the FBI, but he did have a run in ECW for a while that should be noted after his WCW career. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dom316 (talkcontribs) 03:12, 15 April 2007

Very true. He was at a house show in Lebanon, PA that I attended (either late 1999 or early 2000). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.187.128.89 (talk) 12:51, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:OneManGangUSChamp.jpg

[edit]

Image:OneManGangUSChamp.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Relations?

[edit]

If he's from Spartanburg, just wondering if anyone has ever asked whether or not he's related to Doug Gray, the lead singer of the Marshall Tucker Band. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.229.69.17 (talk) 10:57, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

George Gray (wrestler)One Man Gang – This is the ring name that Gray used for the majority of his televised appearances (with the exception of his two year stint as Akeem). This will allow more direct linking and is a less ambiguous title. This is the name Gray is currently using for his sporadic independent circuit appearances. Orphaned references in One Man Gang

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of One Man Gang's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "wwebio":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:24, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Akeem the Dream"

[edit]

Shouldn't there be some tidbit about him basically stealing NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwon's nickname? Not only was his name Akeem before he changed it to Hakeem, his nickname was also the Dream!! And his tandem with teammate Ralph Sampson was ALSO called the Twin Towers!! They recieved national attention when they reached the NBA Finals a year before the wrestler changed his name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.81.33.59 (talk) 21:05, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest that we should not unless reliable sources make the claim first.--70.49.80.26 (talk) 00:43, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Video of One Man Gang's Transformation Into Akeem Exists

[edit]

He claimed was "reborn" and "revitalized," not that he was "actually African."[1]

Is There A Source Claiming That Coming To America Was Influence For His Transformation Into Akeem?

[edit]

The film was released months before the transformation and its star character was even an African Prince named Akeem.2601:447:4100:1BE0:C09C:C97:1A37:1671 (talk) 18:47, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
