[edit]Gaskin was responsible for rebuilding the Vicarage of Sutton, Cambridgeshire. where he held a living. The vicarage survived until 1961 when it was tragically demolished to make room for the new building. When my father Revd. Maldwyn Humphreys was vicar of Sutton we found a stone tablet inscribed 'HANC MANSIONEM EXSTRUXIT GEORGIUS GASKIN 1783' (George Gaskin built this dweliing 1783).
