George Fisher (film actor)
[edit]I removed
- *George Fisher (film actor), played Ivan Argianiyev in Be Cool
having suspected it immediately of n-n bcz someone apparently thot that his most notable role was in a film whose title i didn't recognize. (It's the sequel to Get Shorty, which i saw in first run and would watch again, on cable, FWIW.) This one's got Travolta & Uma Thurman (and Keitel, and DeVito again, and James Woods), but i don't think it made much of a splash. More importantly, GF appears only on the "whole cast" list rather than among about 15 on the main page.
He is, no question, a Hollywood pro: he has a successful acting career, and in fact also a successful stunt career. But that doesn't make him notable.
Offhand, i'd say that he probably has a decent chance of getting a Wiki-bio written that doesn't get deleted (which is the whole point of having a Dab entry) if there's a movie
- that's been reviewed by the New York Times,
- that's got a favorable review from either them or Rotten Tomatoes, and
- for which IMDb lists him on the film's main page.
In that case, i'd drop my current opposition to giving him a Dab-page entry. (But the entry above should then be rewritten to reflect that film in place of Be Cool.)
(There may be some problem with the title, since "film actor" is a lousy way to distinguish him from the film actor George Fisher (actor), but IMO that's not worth anyone worrying about, unless they think he is going to get an article.)

Georgina Fisher (netball)
[edit]English international netball player Georgina Fisher is referred to as George Fisher, e.g. in Hertfordshire Mavericks. I'm unsure what the policy is here - Mcstove (talk) 16:23, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
