Traumatization and deep reasons for interest in psychiatry
[edit]Should the sentence about being traumatized and thus interested in psychiatry be deleted? It has no citation, is speculative and could at worst be considered as offending Vaillant. 128.214.78.143 (talk) 17:01, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

Pronunciation of Vaillant
[edit]What is the source for the pronunciation given here for George Vaillant's surname? I can only find one CUNY TV video (Brianlehrer.tv) in which the presenter pronounces it vә'lant. While I couldn't find any interviews/talks/etc. in which George Vaillant says his own name, the vast majority of times he's introduced by others, they pronounce his surname like "valiant". When the author John Vaillant (no relation to George that I can see) says his own name, he also pronounces it "valiant". 24.187.44.167 (talk) 21:43, 29 April 2023 (UTC)corpho
