[edit]I believe there is some enroneous information in this article. While researching David, I have seen many sources that say he was born in Pennsylvania and that his father was a history professor at Bryn Mawr and one of the the first Rhodes Scholar's from the U.S. I haven't changed any text because I don't have the time to verify my own sources, but I'm almost certain of the information I have. I hope someone will follow up. I'm also fairly certain he never worked at GM. It's almost like this entry is about two different people--maybe there are two famous George Davids and they got mixed up.
It also has elements of a vanity page. Galizur 21:03, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- It appears some of the bogus information has recently been removed or corrected - but some may still remain. The information in this fall 2005 contribution is suspect because the same IP address, one day earlier, added this false comedic material to the Edward Lampert page. --Georgeryp 18:00, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
