Airport International Medical Visitor Service Center

Aviacsa is gone
Aviacsa service ends January 13th. Go to aviacsa.com, which IS A SOURCE. You cannot book it past January 13th. There is no media source in English, because it isn't being publicized. Simple as that. "I agree that it is a shame we'll be losing China Airlines passenger service, one of Houston's first Asian-flag carriers. At this juncture, the Houston Airport System is aggressively engaged in negotiations with a number of air carriers offering service to East and Southeast Asia, as well as to other global locations
As you may know the aviation industry is always in a state of constant flux as the result of rising fuel and security costs, changing flight patterns and travel habits and the emergence of new technologies that affect range and load considerations for air travel, to name a few.
The Asian Pacific rim is an area of great interest to the Houston Airport System and our marketing department along with a host of other city agencies is in constant dialogue promoting the benefits, business opportunities and passenger traffic levels that Houston and the surrounding metropolitan area have to offer. That includes a sizable Asian population.
We will continue our considerable efforts to attract viable and suitable partners to provide services to that region.
We hope that in the coming months we will be able to announce a number of new service opportunities for passengers using George Bush Intercontinental Airport including more service opportunities to Asia."

- yeah i did ask about possible new service. rumour has it that SIA and EVA might be possiblities. i know that SIA with their A345 can make a direct, non-stop flight but i don't know if EVA can do it with their 77W's.

- I doubt SIA will fly Houston to Taipei, given they have plans for a IAH-DME (Moscow)-SIN route next summer. However, EVA has a codeshare with CO, and new 777s which already do nonstop Taipei-USA flights, so its pretty likely that if anyone will fly IAH-TPE, itll be EVA. 69.249.65.12 (talk) 21:14, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
BA Heathrow service
I believe that its important to state that this route will change from a direct service (via DTW which is ending) to a non-stop service due to the recent open skies agreement between the US and EU. 75.6.212.84 1 July 2007

- Whether service is nonstop or not is irrelevant, it is meant to be a list of direct destinations. I have not seen any Wiki airport site that distinguishes such. V-train 00:56, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, the destination list is for both direct and non-stop destinations therefore because BA is still serving LHR from IAH by one of the two there's no reason to indicate another begin date. This is a destination list, not a route list. NcSchu 13:10, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

An inter-terminal train
the part that says "An inter-terminal train outside of the sterile zone connects all five terminals and the airport hotel which can be accessed by all." I believe is wrong, the train stations are on the secure side just like DFW air port....

Not unless they've changed it since I rode it last, a year or so ago (there is a subway that has been there for years, accessible from the elevators off the ticketing lobbies of the various terminals; it's not talking about the above-ground TerminaLink, which is behind the secure zone - it's wonderful when you can't park at the right terminal because the garage is full) --Souperman 22:55, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
The "subway" train has been operating at IAH for many years and has been expanded several times. This system is based on the WEDway PeopleMover technology developed by WED Enterprises. Unless changes have been made, the inter-terminal train is outside the secure zone and can be utilized by the general public. Jay77tx 21:54, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Continental Flight every day to GUAM
Continental Airlines flights every day to GUAM using flight No 1
Contiental flight 1 route is Houston-Honolulu-Guam-Honolulu-Houston Passengers traveling from Houston to Guam did not exit the airplane on Honolulu only remains on Board for 50 minutes aprox
