What's a "controversialist"? Also, is there a source citation for this article?—Mateo SA | talk 06:00, Oct 17, 2004 (UTC)

a person who disputes; who is good at or enjoys controversy Wordreference.com. The term has lost favor and seems to have most often been used in religious contexts. Bishop Spong could, maybe, be a modern example of a controversialist. More broadly I think the term to a degree is similar to a debater or polemicist. Bill O'Reilly or Michael Moore might kind of fit if I'm right about that.--T. Anthony 07:55, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What happened?

[edit]

This article appears to have fallen apart in the last year in a major way. Was all that stuff in it then false?--T. Anthony (talk) 07:55, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
