GEORGE ATKINSON WAS ALSO THE PIONEER IN THE VIDEO TRANSFER BUSINESS. HE HAD A DEPT INSIDE THE COMPANY THAT WOULD TRANSFER PERSONAL VIDEO TAPES TO DIFFERENT FORMATS . LIKE 16MM OR 35 MM TO VHS OR BETA. THEY WOULD ALSO TRANSFER PROFESSIONAL TAPES FOR PEOPLE OR COMPANYS. THE COMPANY WENT PUBLIC IN THE EARLY 1980s AND GEORGE WAS FORCED OUT. I WORKED AT THE VIDEO STATION FOR EIGHTEEN MONTHS AND RAN SEVERAL DEPARTMENTS AT THE COMPANY. JIM KING —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.48.22.107 (talk) 23:32, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
