Speedy deletion request
[edit]Clearly this article does not meet the suggested criteria for deletion. It is generally accepted that members of the US congress are notable. This article shows when he served and who proceeded and succeeded him. It is clearly not an external link farm. Yes, it needs expansion which is why it is marked as a stub. Clearly the number of links shows some additional support for an article. The issue with people who died long ago is that the number of online sources is limited making it more time consuming to gather data. This is not a reason to delete notable stub articles.
