Generalmajor?

According to http://www.firstworldwar.com/bio/bruchmuller.htm, Hitler made him a major general in 1939. Are there any other sources supporting this claim?C'est la vie (talk) 16:29, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

By now it is part of the text and sourced. For the records, he was promoted on the retired-list. This was one of dozens of such promotions around that day as it was the 25th anniversary of the Battle of Tannenberg. Which means an honorary promotion, though a deserved one. ...GELongstreet (talk) 22:06, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
