Deleted Picture
[edit]I deleted a picture. There was nothing wrong with the picture. I just wanted to get rid of the big gap on the page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Npnunda (talk • contribs) 03:30, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
High Importance
[edit]I disagree with this rating and believe that Geoff Bodine should be Top importance. He won 18 career races in Winston Cup, including the Daytona 500, making him a major player in the sport for 20 years. Casey14 00:31, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
Geoff Bodine is not terribly important or well known outside of NASCAR, thus the "High" rating. -Drdisque 01:10, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
I also disagree with the rating and I think he should be of top importance. When Nascar created its list of the 50 greatest drivers in the year 2000 Geoff was one of them. Not only his driving career but his safety innovations have also shaped the sport. I would support an increase to a top rating. Andrew Grigg 17:06, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
French descent?
[edit]I found the Bodine brothers in the category for American sportspeople of French descent. I never heard anything of their French ancestry (I began following stock car racing 10 years ago), so is there a source for that? And might there be a source with similar info for other American drivers of non-native descent? 184.100.46.85 (talk) 06:25, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
